FIRE AT THE NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL, PARIS

ICOMOS Ireland expresses its solidarity with our ICOMOS France colleagues at the devastating fire at Notre Dame yesterday. The destruction caused to this great cultural monument of Paris brings a sadness felt across the world and makes real, in the starkest of ways, what irreplaceable means. Our friends and colleagues in Paris and France are in our thoughts. and we lend our support in the endeavours ahead.
